Work one-to-one with me and I will help you leave a lasting impression on your readers. Your characters will become unforgettable. Your scenes will become cinematic. And your language will become focused and vibrant. Genres: Nonfiction: memoirs, essays/essay collections, genre-specific: self-help, parenting. Fiction: novels (literary, genre/middle grade). Projects with a mental health component are warmly welcomed.
I offer tailored services as well as guidance, support, and accountability along the way. I meet writers where they are in their projects, coming in as an editor at various stages in their work.
Developmental editing is a collaborative process to strengthen a story that has been drafted. I read deeply and analyze each work for craft elements (point of view, narration, character development, plot, subtext, structure & more) and I suggest targeted ways to improve your work. With new craft knowledge and a sharpened eye for revision, you become the writer you are meant to be.

Book coaching is for those just setting out on their publication journey. You will gain guidance and support as we create a clear game plan. For first time authors, I also foster accountability to keep you on schedule to get your book across the finish line.
